My name is Carolina Vogler, originally from northern Virginia, I am a designer and multidisciplinary artist currently in my senior year of Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Much of my design philosophy and inspirations come from my lived experiences, for example living in Russia when I was a child, my experience with being disconnected from artistic communities in Virginia, and the people who have influenced who I am today. I am consistently exploring new avenues of designing and skills to apply to my work. During my time at Parsons I have explored mediums such as screen printing, machine knitting, laser cutting, and tailoring, while utilizing these skills towards my collections. I am currently making my senior thesis collection, telling the story of my mothers life and her journey with cancer, while connecting to cancer patients and the universal experiences which come with the disease. With my skillset I hope to explore all the different pathways in fashion and get a taste of  every facet, from designing to production, which shapes a larger fashion community.
